My name is Ellen Swalley, the face behind the business. I’m so glad you found this page! I live in Colorado with my husband Michael and four kids who are 11, 10, 8 & 6. I am a bio/foster/adoptive mom, homeschooling mom, always-wish-my-house-was-cleaner mom. I’m indoorsy, which goes really well with living in Colorado ;) but I do try to be outside whenever I can, just don’t ask me to go camping!

My goal with SDS is to help you make your house feel like home. That any room we refresh in your home brings you joy and you look forward to entering any room in your house because its designed exactly how you like. I want to help you achieve that feeling!

I can help you by providing e-design for rooms in your home, and if you are local to Colorado Springs, I can also help style or refresh a room. This would include, but not limited to: simple wood designs for your walls, paint and style until it is exactly what you’ve dreamed, do the shopping for you and install decor. I will gladly work within your budget to help you love your home. I can’t wait to meet you!
